<image:caption>Dr Ferguson has practiced psychiatry in Chattanooga, TN since 1990 and has over thirty years of experience treating mental health conditions. He earned his medical degree, completed both his psychiatry residency and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston His primary focus is his outpatient practice, although he continues his inpatient work on the Child and Adolescent Unit at Parkridge Valley Hospital. Dr Ferguson’s philosophy of care is to collaborate with his patients and their family members by discussing the best medications and current treatment options available to them based on their symptoms, past medication trials, health issues and costs. By providing education on how medications work, actively listening and having his patients participate in the treatment process, he feels this helps with overall improvements and better outcomes.</image:caption>
