  • Contacting your provider during regular hours is always preferable however we know that sometimes situations occur when you need to reach your provider after hours. There is a psychiatrist on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week

  • For therapy patients please contact Ms. Thomsen or Dr Leigh individually with their preferred method of contact

  • If it is a true emergency please call 911 or visit your local emergency room

  • For a psychiatric emergency you may contact Respond at Parkridge Valley Hospital for a free evaluation @ 423-894-4220 or Erlanger Behavioral Hospital @

  • While we do our best to stay on time, there are unexpected delays that occur. Please plan on at least 1 hour for your visit

  • If for some reason you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment please kindly give 24 hours notice to avoid any additional charges * please note insurance does not pay for late cancellations or missed appointments

  • Payment is due at time of service

  • It is the client’s responsibility to check if your insurance requires pre-authorization for mental health services

  • It is the client’s responsibility to notify us of any changes with your insurance

  • Clients may be dismissed if there are excessive cancellations or no shows

  • Controlled substances can only be sent electronically by a provider during business hours and will not be filled on weekends by the on-call doctor

  • We do offer text and phone reminder messages 48-72 hours prior to an appointment as a courtesy however it is still the client’s responsibility to keep track of their appointment date so keep your phone updated with us
