Instructions / Process for Telemedicine Appointments
Our providers at Chattanooga Behavioral Alliance are dedicated to continuing your care via Telemedicine if allowed by your insurance company ( some do not offer reimbursement for this type of appointment)
We will continue your care by way of Telemedicine where you can hear and see your provider via your smartphone and or computer. We are using a HIPPA compliant secure program called Doxy.me
The easiest method is to use your smartphone; Android & iPhone both work
Please note: your computer must have a webcam available for it to work
*You will need to make your copay prior to the appointment as usual. We will take this information over the phone the day prior and run it the day of the appointment
*Your appointment may be a little earlier or later than the scheduled time
You will receive a text message on your cell phone with a link inviting you. This works with iPhone and if you have an Android it is best to clear your cache on your browser.
If you do not have a smartphone we will do a telephone conference
Click the link and it takes you to a page. Put your name in and hit check in.
Last step is to allow or enable your camera and audio
The Major Insurance Companies during this period are going to cover this service as a normal office visit. If you have difficulty, please call our office 648-9290 or 553-7560 and we will help you.
